Hi, I'm Angela (she/her), and if you're finding your way through the news cycle, wondering how to focus on what truly matters without losing hope, I see you.
Seeking joy is a privilege and an intentional practice.
Joy is a way to show our nervous system and mind that it's OK to experience good things, even as we witness and experience suffering in the world.
When I dedicate a practice to seeking joy and tending to the parts of me that feel disheartened by the world's suffering, I find my way to the imperfect truth:
I am powerful. People have the power, not the billionaires.
We can create more healing in the world when we do it together.
I can't solve all of the injustice in the world, but I can help one person.
To heal and have the courage and capacity to keep being a force of good in the world, I must be rooted in joy and inner peace whenever possible.
I would love for you to join me in this 3-part monthly practice.
